Winchester History Comes to Cowan

Cowan Center for the Arts will host a History of Winchester presentation on Sunday, April 25th at 5:00 p.m.

Mrs. Joy Gallagher, a Winchester resident and historian will provide a slide presentation revealing the history and character of some of Winchester's most noteworthy buildings, houses and landmarks.  She will also explain how the city was founded as the seat of Franklin County government.

The History of Winchester lecture is part of the 2010 Lecture Series at Cowan Center for the Arts. Admission is free.
