TIMBRE FOX

Laura Walker is native of the Chattanooga, TN area and has been playing and singing for 30 years.  A 15-year veteran of The Dismembered Tennesseans, she is a upright bass player and vocalist with a strong lead voice and right on harmonies.   One of the founding members of Sistren, a Chattanooga-based group featuring three part female harmonies, Laura loves to mesmerize audiences with her vocal versatility.  Her later musical endeavor, Timbre Fox, is a great showcase for her voice and rhythm guitar.

Born in California and a long time resident of East Tennessee, Daniel Parkin comes from a musical family.  With his unique guitar style and powerful voice, Daniel inherited tremendous songwriting skills from his mother.  A former brick mason who only returned to his musical roots a short ten years ago, Daniel penned and performed Palm of His Hand, a powerful song of faith featured in the multiple award winning, oscar nominated movie, Winter’s Bone.  He continues to command asudiences with his beautiful voice and original songs.

Hailing from northern Florida, Owen Saunders, the last of the long bow fiddle players, has toured with bluegrass greats such as Ralph Stanley, Doyle Lawson, James King and many more.

Minnesota native, Dean Arnold is an accomplished mandolin player and an excellent singer.  He has lent his skills to several different groups and styles of music.  He also gives lessons at The Folk School of Chattanooga in voice and instrument.
